How billing works for a Reseller account (Resellers 2007)
-
Synopsis
This guide shows you how billing works for a reseller account. -
Applicable to
All SherWeb 2007 Resellers accounts. -
How to
Note: Remember that we bill you and you in turn bill your customers. You are billed according to the number of mailboxes you allocate, NOT the number of mailboxes created by your client. For example, if you allocate 20 mailboxes to your client and he only creates 10 out of the 20, you will be billed for 20 mailboxes.IMPORTANT: If you wish to remove a user from the Control Panel, you first need to delete this user’s mailbox and then change the number of mailboxes available. If you do not modify this number, you are still renting the space; therefore, you will be billed for it. Please refer to the FAQ #36: How to delete a mailbox (Exchange 2007) to learn more.On the last day of each month, we take a screenshot of your reseller account (Exchange, POP3 and forward mailboxes, BlackBerry synchronizations, and SharePoint accounts) and bill you accordingly without regards to when an item was added or removed. This means that you will not be charged at all for a mailbox if you remove it the day before the screenshot, but will be charged a full month for one added 2 days before the screenshot.
All account statements and invoices are sent via email. You may view and print them anytime through SherWeb’s Account Manager.
