Prerequisite
- Entourage 2004 or 2008.
Note: You may localized content as well as server content in Entourage within one working window (also called an Entourage Profile). At the top left-hand side of Entourage you have the names of your existing Exchange, POP/IMAP accounts, their contacts, email folders, and calendar events. If you scroll down, you will find an On My Computer folder icon where you can find the appropriate FAQ.
The On My Computer folder acts as an offline archive for past calendar events, emails, contacts or address book which have been moved from email accounts. You may choose to keep or not the information available locally for viewing without storing it on the mail server. Entourage users often assume by mistake that when running an Export, they are exporting the entire contents of their mailbox. Please note that only the folder structure and emails are exported from the On My Computer folder and that contact and calendar items must be exported manually. -
