How to book a resource (equipment or room)

  • Synopsis

    This article shows how to book an equipment or room by sending a meeting request using Outlook 2013.
  • Applicable to

    All SherWeb hosted Exchange 2010, 2013 or 2016 accounts
  • Prerequisite

     A SherWeb hosted Exchange 2010, 2013 or 2016 account

  • How to

     1. From your Outlook mailbox, start a new meeting request. 

     

    2. Click on the Rooms button, next to the Location field.

    3. Click on the name of the resource you would like to book (either equipment or room), then click on Resources

    Note: You can add multiple resources to your invitation. Just select each and click on Resources to book them.

    4. Click on OK

     

    5. The resource is listed in both Location and invites (To...) fields.
