How to change a password using Outlook Web App (Exchange 2010)

    This guide will show you how to change a password using Outlook Web App.

    All SherWeb hosted Exchange 2010 accounts.

  • How to

    1. Open any Web browser and type the Webmail value you can find in your Control Panel in the Information for Users section (ex: webmail.example.com) .

    2. Log in using your email address and current password.

    Note: If you have forgotten your password, please contact us by email at support@sherweb.com. If you are the Account Manager, please click here to reset your password.

    1. Once you are logged in, click on Options, located at the top right hand corner of OWA. OWA_changePW_2010_1
    2. Go to the far left of OWA and click on Settings.  OWA_changePW_2010_2
    3. Click on the Password tab. OWA_changePW_2010_3
    4. Enter your former password as well as your new password, and then click on Save. OWA_changePW_2010_4
    5. Outlook Web App will tell you that your password has been successfully changed. Click on OK to log in with your new password. OWA_changePW_2010_5

    Note: At the time of writing this FAQ, the "OK button” only appeared in Microsoft Explorer. If you are using any other browser, just click an option on the page and you will be directly sent to the login page.

    Note: You can also ask an Exchange Administrator to change your password via SherWeb’s Control Panel.
