How to open a CRM site with Internet Explorer

    This guide will show you how to configure Internet Explorer to allow CRM functionality.
  • Applicable to

    All SherWeb hosted CRM accounts.
  • Prerequisite

    • Internet Explorer 6 SP1, Internet Explorer 7 or Internet Explorer 8
    • a SherWeb hosted CRM site
  • How to

    1. On your desktop, go to Start - Control Panel.
    2. Click on Classic View on the top left of the screen to bring up more advanced options.
    3. Click on the Internet Options icon.
    4. Click on the Security tab.
    5. Click on Reset all zones to default level.
    6. Click on the Trusted Sites icon.
    7. Click on Sites.
    8. In the Add this website to the zone field, enter your CRM URL.?

      You will find the URL of you CRM site in your Control Panel in the User statistics section under the CRM header.

       

    9. Click on Add.
    10. Click on Close.
    11. Click on Apply to accept the changes.
    12. Click on OK.
