How to point MX records to SherWeb (Exchange 2007)

  This guide will show you how to point your MX records to SherWeb.

• Applicable to

  All SherWeb hosted Exchange 2007 accounts.

• Prerequisite

  • a SherWeb hosted Exchange 2007 account

• How to

  Note: You should only point your MX records to SherWeb if all your users are using SherWeb.If you have 40 or more users with us, you should seriously consider moving your MX records to us to avoid email reception slowdowns.

  1. Log into your DNS Control Panel and enter your MX records
  2. Enter a priority of 10 for both MX entries.
  3. Enter a TTL of 3600 for both MX entries.

  Note: If you do not know who is hosting your DNS, please go to http://www.whois.sc/ and enter your domain name. The CNAME entries point to your DNS host.
